Director: Jason Beerman
Jason Beerman is an Amsterdam-based writer and editor whose journalism and book reviews have appeared in the Toronto Star, The Boston Globe, The Christian Science Monitor, CNN Travel and GlobalPost.
Previously, Jason was a consultant within the Asia Pacific Public Affairs and Government Communications Practice at Burson-Marsteller in Hong Kong, where he wrote, edited and proofread a range of communications materials for some of Hong Kong's and mainland China's largest multinational corporations.
Prior to this, Jason worked as the external relations and events coordinator at the Center for European Studies at Harvard University, as a grant writer at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and as the grant writer at a community health centre in New York City. Jason also spent a year as a schoolteacher in a classroom full of eight- and nine-year-olds, where he developed a newfound sense of patience, humour and empathy.
Jason studied English and Political Science at the University of Pennsylvania.
